Saturday 15th June


Set up by the Organising Committee of Les Courants de la Liberté with the support of TouCaen Roller, this roller-blade race takes place in Caen. On a cordoned-off, closed 2km circuit, roller-bladers will have to complete as many laps as they can in two hours.

This race is open to beginners and experienced roller-bladers aged 7 and upwards.

Historic edition

The Rollers de la Liberté has become an essential part of Les Courants de la Liberté that contributes greatly to the atmosphere of the weekend. In 2019, the Rollers de la Liberté will take place as part of the 75th anniversary of d-day and the battle of Normandy making this edition a speacial year, full of history and emotions.

Place : District of Caen Prairie, Area of Parc Expo

Roller-blade race on a cordoned-off, 2km circuit.
Open to anyone born in 2013 and before (Minimum age: 7 years).
Seven categories of age: 7-9 years, 10-14 years, 15-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, over-50s.

The three best roller-bladers in each category will receive prizes.

Registration is open until June 12, 2019 (subject to availability).

Women: 27 laps completed by Héloïse Lecomte from Petit-Quevilly, France, in 2007.

All the participants in Les Rollers de la Liberté will receive a New Balance technical t-shirt.
