The Pegasus is a half-marathon which has been awarded the FFA national label. With more than 4,500 participants every year, it is one of the most popular races in Normandy. La Pegasus is a qualifier for the French Championships and is one of the most important running competitions in France.
In 2019, the d-day landings marathon will take place as part of the 75th anniversary of d-day and the battle of Normandy. This race, named after the famous bridge from which it sets off, was the first bridge liberated by British soldiers from the 6th Airborne Division. With a compact course that offers very pleasant running conditions and an ideal time, La Pegasus is an unmissable event for all running aficionados.
Start: Bénouville at 8:55 am - Finish: Parc Expo of Caen.
FFA national label - Limited to a maximum of 5,000 participants.

Time limit : 2h30
Open to anyone born in 2001 and before (minimum age: 18 years old).
Free shuttle buses, timing chips integrated into bibs, pace setters, refreshments every 5km, cold sponges, changing rooms, showers, buffet of local food from Bienvenue en Gourmandie, musical entertainment along the course, New Balance technical t-shirt, etc.
The registration fee of the half-marathon is € 25.

The half-marathon is limited in 2 hours and 30 minutes with the following split time limits :
- km 10 in less than 1:15 ;
- km 15 in less than 1:50 ;
For a preferential bib (departure in the 1st wave), you must send a request after registration by e-mail to the following address : email@example.com. Requests must be send before May 6th with a recent proof of performance.
Pace setters will help you to achieve your time objective in 1:00, 1:45 and 2:00.
Free shuttle service to drive you from Caen to the start of the half-marathon in Bénouville.
Clothing bags may be handed in to the truck located in the start area of the half-marathon.
Showers and changing room will be available at the Sport Palace in Caen, next to the finish area.
Feed stations will be available to each 5 km wih refreshment point. After the finish line, a local buffet will be offered by Bienvenue en Gourmandie, to permit you to discover and savor local products.
A New Balance technical t-shirt will be awarded upon arrival.
